We provide weight loss consultation services, including medical assessments, prescriptions, and related support. The specifics of the services you receive will be determined during your consultation.
We are committed to financial transparency. The cost of your consultation will be communicated at the time of booking. However, during your appointment, your Specialist may recommend additional tests, treatments, or vaccinations that could incur extra charges. We advise you to inquire about these potential costs with our front desk team before proceeding.
As an agent for your Specialist/Clinician, we require all patients, both self-pay and insured, to provide credit or debit card details to secure appointments. This information is securely encrypted using Stripe software. By registering, you accept our terms and consent to us charging your card after your appointment. For insured patients, your card may also be charged to cover any policy shortfalls or excesses. In certain cases, advance payment may be requested for consultations, tests, treatments, or procedures.
Howell Medical Group is recognized by most Private Medical Insurers and will invoice your insurance company if we have a direct settlement agreement. For some overseas medical insurance companies without such agreements, a Letter of Guarantee detailing the costs they will cover is required in advance. We recommend contacting your insurer before your appointment to understand your policy terms and coverage. Please provide us with your insurer's details, membership number, and pre-authorization code or Letter of Guarantee prior to your appointment. If we do not have a prior written agreement or you do not provide this information, payment will be required at the time of your appointment. A receipt will be provided for you to claim from your insurer. Remember to inform your insurer about each stage of your treatment.
Medical information will be kept confidential. We will only share it with those involved, or who may become involved, in the provision and administration of your treatment and care, or their agents, and to any person or organisation responsible for paying our and/or your specialist's fees and charges, or their agents. Everyone with access to your records is trained in maintaining confidentiality and is governed by a legal and professional duty to keep your information private. All information about you is held securely and we have electronic safeguards to help prevent accidental loss. We will not disclose information over the telephone unless we are certain that we are talking to you.Information will not be disclosed to spouses, partners, family or friends unless we have your prior written consent. We will not leave messages with others.
Our Price Promise ensures that subscription rates remain within 10% of the average market price. Adjustments are made automatically, and customers will be notified of any changes. This promise applies only to active and ongoing subscriptions. We reserve the right to modify or terminate this feature at any time.
We offer 1-Month, 3-Month, 6-Month, and 12-Month Subscription services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or through our services. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services or your subscription at our discretion, without notice. In such cases, a pro-rata refund for any unused subscription period will be provided.
